The tees in their current form appeared in the 1920s but were not widely used until the 1940s. Before that, golfers would elevate the ball on a mound of sand provided at each hole until the first rubber tees were created to replicate the sand mound. To prevent losing the tee after hitting the ball, it was attached to a nail connected by a short string, and eventually, this nail became what is now known as the tee.

Arriving at kilometer 54, you must take the small path to the right and there you are at the family cottage! It is precisely at this place, around the fire and a few meters from the lake, that the idea came to us to share our love for the thousands of little paradises like this one that abound in Canada.
