The story: Grumman G-44

The Grumman G-44 Widgeon is a twin-engine passenger-carrying amphibious seaplane, quite similar in design to the Grumman G-21 Goose. In the United States, it is designated J4F by the United States Navy and the United States Coast Guard and OA-14 by the United States Army Air Corps and the United States Army Air Force.

Here in Limoilou (part of Québec City) the Grumman is also a sweet cheese with post syrup.

We have chosen to illustrate the airplane version on the t-shirt. We found it more beautiful.
